This is a coil built depiction of a slumbering figure, underglazed and fired to cone 05. She rests among the clouds, dreaming of her childhood. This piece taps into my own childhood, as I use the pattern from my childhood home’s kitchen wallpaper as well as a plaid pattern taken from the bedroom I grew up in.
