My piece Marvin encapsulates the imagination of a child by giving life to comfort objects such as stuffed animals and matching pajama sets. Experimenting with textures and shapes by carving into the clay, and not worrying about how clean and neat the lines are gives the piece a playful atmosphere similar to the scribbles of a child’s drawings.
